Meet Bill Barber, personal trainer, who specializes in core strengthening.  There are the approximately 35 skeletal muscles from just above the knees to just below the sternum.  Strengthening the extremities )arms, legs, shoulders, etc.) are proven to follow in the correct order, once the foundation of core strength is established.  Our cardiovascular endurance, reactivity, proprioceptive abilities and balance all become more efficient through this core strengthening process.

Personal Motivations to Exercise

"Like human batteries, our ability to release and recharge our energy is directly proportionate to how we channel it. For example, a rechargeable battery soon loses its power capacity if it is only allowed to sit on a shelf. When very little energy is demanded of it, its power grows weak. The same can be said for the human battery, but the key difference is that the human battery can recharge at any age, and an open mind provides the path of least resistance. Regular exercise with a steady increase in both load and resistance can charge, maintain and grow our human battery's capacity, regardless of our age, condition or time spent on a shelf.
